At Tidewater Stadium, we are committed to providing a top-tier matchday experience and a premier venue for sports and entertainment. The Facility Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring that Tidewater Stadium operates efficiently and remains a state-of-the-art facility.
Position Purpose
The Facility Coordinator, under the supervision of the Director of Operations at Tidewater Stadium, is responsible for coordinating day-to-day administrative duties of the operations and engineering department while also providing event operation support for events.
Essential Functions
- Assist with departmental correspondence.
- Maintain and organize a filing system for all relevant documents.
- Assist with budget compilation and tracking.
- Facilitate purchase orders, invoices, work orders, and track processes to completion.
- Perform general office tasks including mail services, copying, faxing, and answering phones.
- Assist with scheduling of vendors, contractors, and facility needs.
- Organize and maintain building records such as building permits and other relevant documents.
- Provide event operation support to the operations team for events and games.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Supportive Functions
- Provide administrative support for special projects as needed.
- Assist in coordinating operational initiatives for Tidewater Stadium.

- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn new programs as needed.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, establish priorities, meet deadlines, and solve problems as they arise.
- Must be able to handle confidential matters with absolute discretion.
- Ability to work long and flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Knowledge of current First Aid and safety procedures.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, subordinates, building tenants, and the public.
Qualification Standards
Education
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative experience.
- Strong initiative, eagerness to learn, and capability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in sports and entertainment venue management.
Work Schedule
This position will require evening, weekend, and holiday hours based on the needs of the stadium and Rhode Island FC events.
