Narrative:

Are you a natural communicator and organizer with an eye for mastering the details? Rhoden Roofing is a market leader for residential roofing projects in the greater Wichita area and commercial projects across Kansas. Our team is looking for a Construction Coordinator to ‘own’ our residential schedule – coordinating with customers and suppliers to get people and materials in the right spot at the right time.

Our construction schedule changes with the weather. Being proactive and planning ahead is the name of the game – plus maintaining the relationships and trust to make decisions that keep everyone safe when last-minute changes are needed. Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Associates or Bachelor's in a business or operations field a plus.
• Job scheduling or office management experience (Preferred)
• A love of working with people

Skills (Required):

• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Computer skills – Outlook, Excel, Adobe Acrobat
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective time-management skills

Skill (Preferred):

• Use of CRM systems or project management software
• Spanish language proficiency is not required but is a bonus
• Experience with inventory or warehouse management
• Construction or trade background is not necessary as long as you have an interest in the field and are ready to learn

Job Description:

At Rhoden Roofing, we believe in ‘ownership’ of job functions: that ultimate accountability for different elements of our business and customer experience are ‘owned’ by exactly one person on our team. As the Construction Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

• The residential roof replacement schedule – initial call, make schedule, changing the schedule, notify of changes (customer), tracking & communication (in-house communication), subs/supplier communication
• Approval of scheduling section of construction documents submitted by our Project Coordinators
• Gutter work scheduling
• Customer welcome letters and thank-you cards
• Answering phones – scheduling, leads, warranty issues
• Submitting subcontractor Sub-pays
• Filing Product Warranties and rebates (GAF including Roofs for Troops, class 4, DaVinci, etc)
• Filing Roof Permits & (after job) requesting final inspections

Compensation & Benefits:

• $40,000 - $43,000 base salary
• Profit sharing incentive bonus program
• Gas/vehicle reimbursement for occasional site visits to construction jobsites around Wichita
