Job Description :
The at invites applications for a 2-year visiting assistant professor position beginning Fall of 2025. This position would be for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 academic years.The area of specialization is open, with preference given to candidates whose specialization relates to clinical / counseling, developmental, or health. The ability to contribute to the interdisciplinary program in Neuroscience is also a plus.Rhodes College believes that diversity and inclusion are critical to our success as an institution, and we seek to recruit, develop, and retain the most talented people from a diverse candidate pool.The successful candidate must demonstrate a firm commitment to teaching at a liberal arts college.Teaching responsibilities will include six courses per year and will consist of a combination of introductory, methods / statistics, and upper-level courses in the candidate’s area of expertise. We support our visiting faculty with mentoring for their teaching, support for their scholarship, and conference travel funds.Candidates must have completed all requirements for a Ph.D. in an appropriate subdiscipline of psychology by July 2025.
