Job Description
As a Data Scientist , you will be embedded with our San Diego-based client, the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC PAC) to help solve essential problems to deterrence.
You’ll be pulling data sources, cleaning data, setting up machine learning problems, coding solutions to physical problems, and running machine learning problems. You’ll be working with code blocks from Rhombus, but the problem sets will be highly classified.
This is an ambitious role that will make formative impacts on topical deterrence issues, combined with significant opportunities for growth at Rhombus. We’re seeking candidates that understand how high the stakes are, and are happy to do whatever it takes to get the job done. You’ll work in small teams to fully own the delivery of high stakes projects with our client.
What we seek :
- You’ll use your experience in data science, data engineering, and machine learning to lead analytical exploration and data examination while managing the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms for our client.
- Bring your systems-level mindset and focus on delivering production solutions with AI, data processing pipelines, and advanced analytics tools.
- Discover datasets that could help in solution development, and design, create, and implement quantitative models.
- Conduct validation and quality assurance of data, models and results with minimal supervision and guidance.
- Collaborate efficiently in teams of technical and non-technical individuals.
- Comfort working in a dynamic environment with evolving objectives and direct iteration with users.
