What are the responsibilities and job description for the Videographer/Graphic Designer position at Rhyme?

The Videographer Graphic Designer will play a key role in Rhyme’s marketing efforts by creating compelling multimedia content that tells our story, highlights our products and solutions, and showcases our people. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who is comfortable collaborating across multiple teams and departments to develop high-quality video, photography, and graphic content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the marketing team, other Rhyme departments, and external clients/partners to develop engaging multimedia content that aligns with business goals.
  • Travel to Rhyme’s various offices to capture high-quality video and photography content, including employee headshots, bio videos, customer testimonials, case studies, and event coverage.
  • Conceptualize, storyboard, script, shoot, and edit video content, including:
  • Customer and employee testimonials
  • How-to guides for Rhyme solutions, such as MFP/copier functions
  • Product and solution feature overviews
  • Social media videos
  • Event recaps and promotional content
  • Create visually compelling graphics for social media, marketing campaigns, and giveaways.
  • Collaborate with internal experts to produce training materials that enhance customer understanding of Rhyme’s products and services.
  • Lead the creative charge by bringing fresh ideas and ensuring content remains innovative, engaging, and on-brand.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
  • Maintain digital asset organization, including archiving photo and video files, project variations, and historical collateral samples.
  • Utilize project management software (Microsoft Teams) to track progress and communicate with the team.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong storytelling ability with an eye for producing engaging content that resonates with different audiences.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Media Encoder.
  • Experience with video production, including lighting, audio, and camera operation (Camera Equipment Provided: Sony FX-30 Digital Cinema Camera and Nikon D7000 digital SLR camera).
  • Knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and video editing techniques.
  • Strong photography skills, including photo retouching and image manipulation.
  • Ability to direct individuals during shoots and capture natural, authentic moments.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel to various Rhyme locations as needed for on-site content creation.

Education & Experience:

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Graphic Design, Video Production, Multimedia Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in graphic design, videography, and content creation.

Work Environment & Schedule:

  • This position offers flexibility with full-time or part-time options.
  • Hybrid or in-office work arrangements are available, with the expectation of in-person collaboration as needed.
  • Travel to Rhyme locations across Wisconsin is required for content creation.
