KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides HR generalist support including personnel administration, employment compliance, and Associate events.
- Provides talent acquisition support including screenings/interviews, scheduling, reference checking reviewing employment applications for accuracy, candidate dispositions, and career fairs.
- Supports talent onboarding/offboarding and New Associate Orientation.
- Receives and promptly and accurately responds to general HR questions from Managers, Associates, and candidates.
- Is well-versed on Rialto’s Associate Reference Guide and our Code of Conduct. Understands and explains HR policies/procedures/processes to provide accurate guidance while ensuring consistency of best practices in execution.
- Develops core competency in HR tools and programs (Workday, Accurate, Navex, etc.) to support users in day-to-day activities and to encourage direct access.
- Maintains HR files as required to meet compliance requirements in a timely manner. Maintains organizational charts and prepares reports for talent acquisition and talent management.
- Coordinates and supports company events sponsored under the HR umbrella including community service, training and development and social events.
- Models and fosters Rialto’s philosophy, culture and core values.
- Displays bandwidth, flexibility and a can-do attitude in performing other functions and tasks as assigned in support of the HR team and the organization.
SPECIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required. Concentration in Human Resources, business administration or a related field is strongly preferred.
- 1 years of HR and/or recruitment experience with knowledge of core employment laws and practices is strongly preferred.
- HR certifications are preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven relationship building skills. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
- Demonstrated high-performance orientation and results-driven work ethic.
- Demonstrated sound judgement and the ability to discreetly manage confidential and sensitive information.
- Proven team-player who works collaboratively and constructively with others towards common goals.
- Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision.
- Ability to travel for career fairs, college visits and meetings as applicable; and the ability to maintain a flexible work schedule as needed.
While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop. The Associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Evening or weekend work may be necessary to meet deadlines.
