Recent job-related experience within the last five years is required.EDUCATION:Verification of a High School diploma, a GED certificate, or a higher degree, supplemented by training or coursework in behavior modification techniques, student supervision, or a closely related field.CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS:Must satisfactorily complete the School Security Officer Training (SB 390) or Campus Law Enforcement Course (PC 832(g) and EC 38001.5. Verification of a current First Aid certificate and a current CPR certificate issued by the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association is required at time of employment and must be kept current as a condition of continued employment.

A valid picture identification card, issued by a government agency, is required. Qualified applicants will be contacted via e-mail regarding the status of the process. All offers of employment are made contingent upon the applicant passing a pre-employment physical examination, TB test and upon receipt of information from the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation that the applicant is not prohibited from being employed. FOREIGN TRANSCRIPT EVALUATION Individuals who have completed course work at an institution in a country other than the United States must obtain a complete evaluation of foreign transcripts/degrees, prior to applying for a position, and attach a copy to the application electronically. The foreign transcripts must be evaluated by one of the approved organizations, listed on the Rialto Unified School District website, in order to be accepted. These organizations are private enterprises who charge a fee for their services. Individuals pursuing a foreign transcript evaluation must follow the procedures outlined by the organization providing the evaluation. In all instances, original, official documentation will be required when requesting the evaluation. Note: To obtain examination credits, veterans must electronically attach a copy of a DD214 (proof of service and/or disability) verification to the application.
