Job Summary: As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact between our customers and the service department. Your role will involve understanding customer concerns, recommending services, and ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs.
- Listen to customer concerns and provide accurate advice on vehicle issues.
- Create detailed service orders and communicate necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Provide cost estimates and obtain customer approvals for service work.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a service advisor or in a customer service role in the automotive industry is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain technical information to customers clearly and understandably.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using automotive service software and tools, especially CDK preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with 6 points or less
