POSITION PURPOSE: Responsible for assigned territory involving overseeing sales, supplier and customer relationships. Fosters relationships with potential or existing partners and clients, creating and implementing sales growth strategies designed to increase profitability, closing difficult sales, and working on the recruitment of new sales and marketing partners.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
• Design and implement channel sales and marketing strategies to achieve business goals.
• Analyze market trends, competition, and channel performance to identify opportunities for growth.
• Forecast sales and set performance benchmarks for channel partners.
• Manage assigned customers, dealers and/or distributor pricing and profitability.
• Meet assigned sales and profit goals, other assigned projects and values expectations each year.
• Develop and manage a territory and account sales plan in effort to meet sales targets.
• Serve as primary point of contact for channel partners.
• Address concerns, provide solutions and ensure alignment of goals with channel partners.
• Coordinate training and development programs to help partners understand products, services and selling strategies.
• Monthly use of CRM software to capture activity for all assigned accounts.
• Maintain awareness of dealer satisfaction levels and drive programs with internal stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
• Participate in problem-solving, improvements, and other meetings and/or work teams as assigned or volunteered.
• Perform conventional sales duties. Be able to readily discuss key points of products and services to customer. Key points include tolerances, packaging and labeling, shipping information, account history, company website, prices, and other services.
• Manage the launch of new products or services in assigned territory. Display an innovative spirit by bringing ideas for continuous improvement.
• Manage travel budget and expenses (including meals, entertainment) submitted for reimbursement promptly with receipts.
• Maintain and show awareness of sales by product and account to recognize trends or to gather information that could be used for promotions or targeted sales efforts.
• Manage Bids/Quotes for the US and Canada market in conjunction with established procedures and product management.
• Prepare materials and registrations for industry trade shows, table-top dealer shows or other sales formats to drive Ricca Chemical company value proposition.
• Must demonstrate Customer Obsession for both internal and external customers.
• Supervises Inside Sales Specialist.
• Other duties as needed.

• Experienced managing multiple sales channels.
• Strong product knowledge • Ability to work with a team.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Chemistry or a closely related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in channel management, inside sales, bids/quotes, outside sales or technical sales.
• Ability to meet deadlines. • Ability to work independently and with the team with strong follow through.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
