Position Summary
The Department of Psychological Sciences at Rice University is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate for an NIH-funded postdoctoral position to begin in summer / fall 2025 (start date flexible). The Postdoctoral Research Associate will be involved in an R01-funded study from NIA investigating biobehavioral mechanisms of smartphone-based cognitive emotion regulation training in unpaid primary caregivers of persons with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Review of applications will begin on February 1, 2025 and will continue until the position is filled.
Salary : $52,000
In addition to an annual salary of $52,000, the fellowship provides office space, and access to research and travel funds up to $1,500 per year.
Essential Functions
- Documents, analyzes, and maintains research data, particularly including heart rate variability (HRV) and ecological momentary assessment (EMA) multilevel data
- Publishes and presents research findings
- Designs and implements research protocols; adapts new procedures, methods or instrumentation relative to research procedures
- Performs all other duties as assigned
