Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sale Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the bulk powder handling industry, with knowledge of equipment such as vibratory and screw feeders, extruders, and pneumatic conveyors. This role requires a self-motivated, high-energy individual who is resourceful and capable of managing large, complex sales processes with key customers. If you have not worked in the bulk powder handling/feeding industry before, please do not apply. The successful candidate must be a US citizen or green card holder.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through proactive lead generation and networking.
  • Collaborate with customers for pre-sale, sale, and after-sales activities to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Utilize technical selling points to effectively communicate the benefits and capabilities of our bulk powder handling equipment.
  • Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers, ensuring they fully understand the functionality and advantages of our products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and potential threats.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts for senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Sales or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or key account management.
  • In-depth knowledge of equipment such as vibratory and screw feeders, extruders, and pneumatic conveyors.
  • Proven experience in technical sales and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads, close sales, and achieve targets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, high-energy, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to handle large and complicated sales processes with key customers.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the bulk powder handling industry is highly desirable.
  • Experience with CRM’s like Hubspot, Salesforce or other.
  • Travel as needed primarily in North America and occasionally internationally to visit customers and attend industry exhibitions.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
