Minimum Qualifications
- Follower of Jesus Christ and active in their home church
- High School or equivalent, associate’s Degree, or relevant certifications in business, finance, or other related fields or the equivalent combination of education.
- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills. High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
- At least two years of experience in office and financial work or relevant experience, including management of accounts payable and general ledger bookkeeping and hourly payroll
- Skilled in financial software (QuickBooks Online)
- Experience with church management software
- Proven record of being detail-oriented and task-focused
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience with standard office software and databases
- Ability to use and navigate online resources
- Experience with Google Calendars and Docs
Preferred Qualifications
- An understanding of and/or experience with churches or nonprofit organizations, including churches undergoing capital campaigns
- Associates Degree in business, accounting or finance
- Experience with church management accounting software (PCO, ACS, Realm)
- Five years of experience in Business, Finance, nonprofit finance, or related fields

Essential Functions
- Process accounts payable
- Use PCO church management software and QuickBooks to record contributions
- Maintain confidentiality
- Prepare and mail/email annual member contribution statements
- Prepare and distribute monthly budget reports to staff
- Assist with trip registration, information collection, and planning as required
- Serve as a backup with receptionist responsibilities as needed
- Maintain a multi-tasked oriented and team-building spirit to help others as needed
- Assist with keeping the workroom stocked and functional
- Carry out data entry-oriented tasks as needed
- Assist as needed with church communications (email & website)
- Perform other duties as required
