What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Office Assistant position at Rich & Humenansky, Plastic Surgery?
Private Plastic Surgery practice looking for candidate who is very reliable and adaptable with excellent customer service skills and the ability to multi-task. Pleasant demeanor is a must for this position along with high attention to detail and willingness to work as a team member to ensure quality care for our patients before, during, and after care. Primary duties include registration, check-in, check-out, scheduling, data entry, referrals, verifying insurance and collecting payments, electronic medical records, exam room prep, etc, with additional duties as needed to ensure quality care in a timely manner. Candidate should be self-motivated and strive for excellence.
Medical practice experience preferred. Bilingual: English/Spanish a plus. Knowledge of HIPAA, EMR, CPT and ICD-10 and basic medical billing will be required in this position. This is an established clinic with multiple providers. Position available immediately to begin on-the-job training.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.75 per hour
