Responsibilities
- Analyze current and past financial data and performance to make recommendations on profit enhancement
- Consistently analyze financial information based on both routine and ad-hoc reports
- Interpret financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key performance indicators
- Communicate financial insights suggesting business issues to management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, or auditing, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in lease accounting (ASC 842).
- Proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
