Rich-Tomkins company is seeking to add an integral person to their newly expanded territory as an Outside Sales Manager. This role will drive sales growth and strengthen relationships with distributors, contractors, engineers, and wholesalers in the New York Metro territory. This role is responsible for managing accounts, developing new business opportunities, and providing product training and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a growing territory for a manufacturer’s representative firm in the plumbing and heating industry
- Responsible for creating demand and developing relationships with our distributor, contractor, builder and manufacturer partners
- Conduct product training and demonstrations for customers and industry professionals.
- Create pull through demand for our distribution partners at the contractor level
- Responsible for developing and executing a growth plan to meet manufacturer sales budgets
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and support
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in outside sales within the plumbing, HVAC, or related industries
- Strong sales and relationship-building skills
- Rockstar communicator with attention to detail
- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn about new products and processes
- Proficient in expected skills such as CRM, google mail and Microsoft products
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory
