What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Richard James & Associates, Inc.?
We are a medium sized, tight-knit office and looking for the "right" person to add to our administrative department.
Must be a hard worker, want to work and work independently when needed.
The job is fast paced with accuracy as a priority. It requires a person to be independently driven and be able to shift from task to task while maintaining that accuracy.
At the same time, there will be some "down days" where you can be ok with less tasks but be still ready to get back to a task at any moment.
These are MUST HAVES or do not reply:
*Must be IN OFFICE Monday through Friday to answer phones. This is NOT a remote job opportunity. Half of the job is just physically being in office for the fill shift.
*QUICK learner while retaining information and repeating information back (comprehension)
*Efficient and Knowledgeable with Microsoft 365 (Word/Excel/Outlook)
*Efficient and ACCURATE with grammar, spelling, typing and 10-key...one very minor mistake can cost us or our client's money
*Organized/Pays attention to details - this is held to the HIGHEST standard
*Can multi-task and prioritize those tasks (can be interrupted by a person/phone call and pick up tasks where you left off)
*Self-starter (don’t need guidance on where to start or wait for anyone to tell you what to do)
*Can stay calm under pressure
This position starts slow, but very quickly escalates with volume and responsibility if accuracy is proven.
Monday-Friday
Hours: 7:30am-4pm
Starting Pay: $21/hour
Full Time / Benefits after 90 Days
