Description

$17-20/hr DOE


  • Assemble materials.
  • Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, or work orders.
  • Assemble electrical components, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering or other equipment.
  • Perform manual assembly of electrical components used in avionic systems, military systems, and medical equipment.
  • Adjust or repair electrical equipment.
  • Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to blueprint specifications, using instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
  • Populate or modify/replace components on printed circuit board assemblies.
  • Test functional performance.

Requirements

  • Self motivated
  • Able to work with small parts and hand tools
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be able to alternate sitting and standing for long periods of time
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs 
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous experience in assembly work preferred
  • 1-5 years electrical assembly preferred
  • J-STD-001 Solder Certification is a plus but not required
