Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized part-time in-house Bookkeeper / Clerical or Administrative Assistant to join our team, 16-24 hrs per week during office hours Mon-Fri. This is a great opportunity for a college student, parent or retired individual who prefers part-time work that is flexible with their schedule.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the CFO with management of financial records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, reconciliations, and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits and reviews
- Perform account and expense analysis to ensure accurate charges, proper classification and compliance
- Update weekly, monthly & annual financial reporting for the business and family office
- Update ongoing notes for critical weekly financial responsibilities & tasks
- Assist with other recurring and adhoc tasks (payroll, benefits, commissions, etc.)
- Track open invoices and ensure timely payments when not on autopay
- Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in budgeting & forecasting processes by providing necessary financial data
- Review & organize mail & email correspondence
Skills
- Experience and/or relevant education with basic knowledge of Accounting principles preferred
- Proficiency in Excel for tracking, analysis, forecasting, and reconciliations
- Excellent typing skills (including 10 key) for efficient, accurate data entry
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, fast learner
- Diligence to keep track of responsibilities & document processes
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Effective communication skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
