The General Manager will report directly to the CEO and oversee the administration and management of the company’s commercial agreements, including those with key customers and suppliers. The role involves coordinating logistics, managing ammonia plant operations, and ensuring the timely loading and export of products. The General Manager will collaborate with the Financial Controller to manage invoices, and work closely with various directors and contractors to meet production, safety, and operational objectives. Additionally, the role includes developing relationships with key stakeholders, preparing reports for the board, and managing staff and consultants.
Candidates should have at least 20 years of experience in the refrigerated gas or chemical industry, particularly with ammonia or similar products, and strong expertise in operations, maintenance, and commercial agreements. A background in marine terminal operations and logistics is preferred. The position requires excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
