Our client, a leading company in the Oil & Gas sector, is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to develop and deploy AI-driven solutions. This role will focus on machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, and optimization algorithms while building scalable model pipelines in Databricks and PySpark.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project requirements with business stakeholders.
- Build and optimize model serving pipelines for scalability and performance.
- Improve model accuracy through feature engineering and tuning.
- Integrate machine learning models into production environments.
- Evaluate and implement pretrained models and vendor solutions.
- Develop project plans, including solution architecture and resourcing.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and analysts to translate business needs into ML solutions.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in machine learning, software engineering, or data science.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and secure data pipelines.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Scala, and machine learning frameworks.
- Strong expertise in feature engineering, model optimization, and tuning.
Preferred Skills:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience with Databricks, CI/CD, data lakes, Unity Catalog, and Git.
- Background in streaming data and cloud-based ML solutions.
