Our client, a leading company in the Oil & Gas sector, is seeking a Natural Gas Scheduler to support commercial operations by managing daily pipeline nominations, monitoring supply interruptions, and balancing feeder pipelines. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and manage pipeline nominations for gas purchases and sales.
- Ensure nomination accuracy by coordinating with upstream and downstream parties.
- Balance pipeline transactions daily using the Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system.
- Monitor pipeline maintenance schedules, capacity constraints, and tariff changes.
- Verify service agreements and update fuel/commodity charges.
- Build and maintain relationships with pipeline scheduling representatives.
- Participate in an on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays.
- Assist with volumetric discrepancies during the settlement process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, supply chain, or a related field.
- 1 years of experience in gas supply, operations, or logistics.
- Familiarity with ETRM systems and Interstate Pipeline EBBs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on short notice and provide coverage outside normal business hours.
