What are the responsibilities and job description for the Railcar Cleaner position at Richardson International?

Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Railcar Cleaner to join our team at our St. Louis, MO Milling location.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the railcar vacuum and air compressor
- Disassemble, reassemble, troubleshoot and repair PD railcars and railcar equipment
- Work on and around rail tracks safely
- Ensure the loadout area is organized and clean at all times
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, while complying with legal regulations
- Learn and execute basic equipment maintenance to improve production reliability
- Communicate effectively with Loadout Supervisors and maintenance department and assist when required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating trackmobile and bobcat equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in conditions with exposure to dust, noise, and temperature extremes
- Must be capable of lifting and stacking up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Ability to operate hand and power tools
- Ability to work from heights with proper use of fall protection devices
- Ability to work rotating shifts including evenings and weekends
