You will assist your dedicated team in executing the brand or functional strategy as well as participate in initiatives or projects to support the development or understanding of sales, culture, analytics, & service.
Service & Process Optimization Intern – Fort Worth
YOUR MISSION
Reporting to the Technical Operations Department at the Richemont Technical Center (RTC), you will play an active role in projects to improve flows and processes by applying Lean Manufacturing principles and tools. You are in daily contact with the workshop and are called upon to all levels of the company. You lead, coordinate, train and monitor work teams. You regularly share the progress of projects entrusted to you with the Technical Ops. & Projects Director.
The projects can cover, but not only, a variety of topics as follows :
Industry transformation
Optimize digital monitoring tools for more efficient management
Automatize data transfer into the information system
User XP focus : create the interface of the new digital tool
Optimizing flow control and visual management
Implement visual management systems to visualize waiting queues and work-in-progress for each business line
Propose and implement actions to reduce lead times
5S, VSM and Kaizen roll-out
Process analysis and optimization
Perform complex data analyses to improve technical processes
Process streamlining – split technical tasks to improve efficiency
Support change management
YOUR PROFILE
Currently enrolled in an accredited university / college program at the time of application –
Preferably on Industrial Engineering and Management or similar
Excellent organizational skills, analytical thinking to resolve situations, define processes.
Tech Savvy with proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
An innovative thinker with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
At your core, a team player who is excited to shine, as well as, empower and assist others to achieve success
Energetic and eager to assist on projects and initiatives
Able to work a full-time schedule throughout the course of our Summer Internship Program
Authorized to work in the United States; International students must have a current work visa, Richemont North America will not sponsor work visa’s for summer internships
Must be available to participate for the entirety of internship program (June 3rd - August 9th)
- Students are responsible for all arrangements of housing and travel
