The Richland R-IV School District is currently accepting applications for a Secondary Counselor grades 7-12 for the 2025-2026 school year.. Applicants must possess current valid counselor certification. Maintenance of student records and student class assignments/schedules. Consult with students, parents, and staff regarding the developmental needs of students. Contribute, as a team member, in the curriculum offerings, student needs, student assessment activities (individual and group), and school climate in assigned building(s). Provide resources, as appropriate, to individuals who need or seek information regarding internal or external guidance. Provide guidance and counseling services to students in assigned buildings(s). Team participation in the District counseling program and activities. Assist building level staff in relation to student needs. Provide consultation and coordination with in-District and community agencies as deemed appropriate and needed.
