Primary Purpose:
Coordinates and implements all of the state and federal mandated assessments and advanced academic testing as assigned by the district, under the supervision of the campus principal, and in coordination with the District Testing Coordinator.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Valid Texas Teacher certification
Master's Degree from accredited institution
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Demonstrates effective, written and oral communication skills; interpret policies, and procedures as needed per testing program(s)
- Demonstrates organizational skills, which utilize problem solving and adaptability for creating and maintaining a positive orderly, purposeful, learning/working environment for instructional purposes
- Demonstrates ability to assess and modify an effective instructional program aligned to the Campus Improvement Plan, Comprehensive Needs Assessment, and Program Evaluation
Experience:
Three years of teaching experience
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Program Planning and Management
1. Responsible for the organization, implementation, verification, collection, and distribution of materials for all assessments.
2. Adhere to testing procedures and deadlines.
Instruction/Program Delivery
3. Responsible for the organization and training of all assessments.
Professional Knowledge
4. Assist with investigating and preparing reports for reported test irregularities.
5. Serves as a resource person to campus principals and teachers to meet the instructional needs of students.
6. Interpret testing procedures and regulations for campus personnel.
7. Attend all assessment trainings as directed by the Principal and District Testing Coordinator (DTC).
Communication and Community Relations
8. Liaison between campus and District Testing Coordinator (DTC) for proper implementation of assessment guidelines and criteria.
9. Ensure routine cycle of communication of testing information between campus, Special Education, LPAC, 504, and RTI committees on testing program requirements.
Assessment
10. Disaggregates, analyzes, disseminates, and prepares reports for testing data upon request.
11. Responsible for campus testing documentation compliance.
12. Responsible for the integrity and security of all assessments.

13. Maintain confidentiality of information.
14. Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
