Primary Purpose:
Process student enrollment, transfers, and withdrawals for the campus. Oversee the maintenance and processing of all student academic records at the campus level. Responsible for student transcripts.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High school or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records
Ability to use personal computer and software to develop or maintain spreadsheets and databases, and do word processing
Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills
Basic math skills
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to meet established deadlines Understanding of and commitment to customer care principles
Experience:
Three years clerical experience, preferably in a public-school environment
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Records, Reports, and Correspondence
1. Process new student enrollments through the Student Information System and verify enrollment documents meet requirements.
2. Maintain student academic records in a digital records storage database to include scanning, organizing, and labeling records.
3. Request records for incoming students.
4. Transcribe incoming high school credits for students who are new to the district.
5. Process campus withdrawals.
6. Process incoming requests for records and transcripts including student transcripts for colleges and universities.
7. Process yearly Returning Student Registrations for campus to include proof of residency verification.
8. Update and maintain accurate student data in the district Student Information System.
Other
9. Respond to parent, staff, and student inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
10. Attend all district-related training.
11. Maintain confidentiality of information.
12. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
13. Assist in campus office as needed.
14. Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
15. Conduct responsibilities in accordance with customer care principles.
