Seeking Part-Time or Full-Time Associate Veterinarian
About us:
We are a 3 doctor small-animal practice in the charming town of Richmond, Vermont. We have a strong positive reputation in the area based on our high-quality care, centered around both patient and client needs. We have wonderful staff, including several with over 15 years of experience in the field. We encourage our veterinarians to utilize their skills and knowledge to the fullest in order to practice medicine in the way that feels right to them. We have been in business for over 30 years, and have a following of great clientele. Our clients are friendly, trust our recommendations and are generally easy to work with. One of the things that we are recognized for is our dental work. We were among the first in the area to get digital dental radiology around 18 years ago. Some of our staff members have attended dental focused conferences to hone their skills and increase their knowledge. Another of our passions is in helping wildlife. We work with local rehabilitators pro-bono to provide care to animals such as bald eagles, hawks, owls, loons, porcupines, raccoons, turtles, opossums and more.
We are open to veterinarians from all walks of life: new grads or experienced veterinarians who are looking for a more relaxed work environment.
Schedule and benefits package:
We are interested in working with our associates to provide a schedule that fits into your life-style. Our full-time associates work 4 days a week. Shifts are approximately 9 hours, as we are open from 8-5, Monday through Friday. There are no on-call, weekend or evening hours! This schedule is meant to be family oriented and to provide an excellent work-life balance.

About Richmond, Vermont:
Richmond is a small, beautiful town, located in the green mountains. We have several restaurants, and a brewery, while still maintaining a small, homey feel. Recreational opportunities abound, including nearby hiking on the Long Trail, Camel’s Hump (one of the most well-known mountains in the state) and several ski resorts nearby. Within Richmond is Cochran ski area, which has popular programs for kids learning to ski or ride. The two closest ski areas (Cochran and Bolton Valley) offer night skiing or riding. Burlington is only a short drive away, and as Vermont’s largest city it provides plenty of opportunities for shopping and entertainment. With the schedule that we provide you will have plenty of time to explore what Vermont has to offer.
