Seeking a veterinary technician with previous experience and/or education. Join our excellent team of technicians and assistants in our 3 doctor practice, in the beautiful town of Richmond. Job responsibilities include client education, animal handling, venipuncture, lab work, radiographs, surgical monitoring, administering drugs, assisting with dental procedures and dental radiographs. One great thing about working here; is along with working with cats and dogs; you will also have the opportunity to work with wildlife, which we do pro bono. We have had a variety of birds, including owls, hawks and eagles, as well as foxes, raccoons, opossums and more. We are interested in creating a schedule that works for you, and we provide a competitive salary and benefits package. Salary is commensurate with previous experience. We encourage our technicians to utilize their skills fully and take on responsibility to help with the daily management of our practice.
