Job Title: Part-Time Temporary Faculty

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of course objectives and a course outline in accordance with guidance provided by the appropriate College supervising official.
- Submission of a course outline for approval prior to the beginning of classes.
- Conducting instruction in accordance with the approved course outline.
- Being thoroughly prepared for each class.
- Being prompt and utilizing class time effectively.
- Maintaining attendance, grades, and other student's records as prescribed herein or by the College directives.
- Emphasizing to all students the importance of prompt, regular, and continuous class attendance.
- Maintaining the degree of discipline, decorum, necessary to establish an effective learning environment.
- Reporting promptly any problems or recommendations to the appropriate College supervisory official.
Teaching Discipline Minimum Requirements:
The following are the teaching discipline minimum requirements:
- Art: Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in art required.
- Astronomy: Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in astronomy and/or physics required.
- Biology: Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in biological sciences required.
- Chemistry: Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in chemistry required.
- Developmental Mathematics: Bachelor's degree in mathematics or related field required.
- Developmental Reading & English: Bachelor's degree in English or Reading required.
- Drama: Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in drama required.
- English: Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in English required.

- Music: Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in music required.
- Physical Education: Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in physical education required.
