What are the responsibilities and job description for the Public Address Announcer - Part-time, Paid position at Richmond Ivy Soccer Club?
The Richmond Kickers Soccer Club, an independent USL League One team, and the Richmond Ivy Soccer Club, a pre-professional USL W League team, both located in Richmond, Va., are accepting applications for an enthusiastic, energetic individual to be the Public Address Announcer during all Ivy home games. The Public Address Announcer will be responsible for clearly communicating information, statistics, and promotions during all Ivy home games by following a script, improvising as needed, and using their voice and personality to entertain and energize the crowds during designated times. This individual will also deliver announcements for Richmond Kickers events as requested.
Duties :
- Make live announcements before, during, and after games, including player introductions, in-game promotions, and important announcements by reading clearly and enthusiastically from a script produced by the Richmond Ivy staff.
- Communicate cards, goals, substitutions, and other on-field events to the crowd.
- Share important information with the audience, such as game updates, player statistics, and upcoming events.
- Interact with the crowd to build excitement, encourage fan participation, and create a positive and energetic atmosphere.
- Be prepared to make emergency announcements or convey important information in critical situations.
- Maintain a professional and polished on-air presence, positively representing the team and organization.

This is a paid part-time, seasonal position, and we request that PA Announcer be available for all home games.
