The Vineyards Monticello , located in Monticello, AR , is seeking a full-time Make Ready Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in preparing vacant units for new residents and ensuring the upkeep of our community.

Key Responsibilities :

As a Make Ready Technician, you'll handle a variety of tasks, including :

  • Inspecting vacated apartments and completing make-ready checklists.
  • Preparing units for tours and new residents, including lock changes, move-out inspections, trash removal, and scheduling vendors as needed.
  • Changing A / C filters and performing essential painting tasks.
  • Tracking and completing service requests for occupied and vacant apartments, office spaces, and amenities.
  • Performing timely repairs in areas such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, lighting, and more.
  • Maintaining the building and common areas daily.
  • Operating and maintaining work order systems, logs, and other records.
  • Displaying a friendly and courteous attitude toward residents and team members.

    • What We're Looking For :

    To thrive in this role, you should bring :

  • 2 years of maintenance experience and / or training.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Expertise in using hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
  • Proficiency in all areas of apartment maintenance, including plumbing, electrical work, painting, drywall, flooring, carpentry, locks, appliances, pools / spas, roofs, and life safety equipment.
  • A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently as needed.
  • HVAC or EPA certification (preferred).
  • Pool operation and maintenance experience (preferred).
  • Availability to rotate in an "on-call" capacity to address maintenance needs.
