The Sub-Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling smaller components into sub-assemblies for use in the final product. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to follow specific instructions and blueprints. The Sub-Assembly Technician ensures that all parts are correctly assembled to meet quality standards and production schedules.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Component Assembly: Assemble various small parts and components into sub-assemblies according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.

Quality Control: Inspect parts and sub-assemblies for defects and ensure they meet quality standards. Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.

Tool Operation: Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to assemble components. Ensure tools are properly maintained and ingood working condition.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and assembly steps completed. Complete necessary paperwork for production tracking.

Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including engineers and supervisors, to ensure smooth workflow and address any assembly challenges.
Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to assembly processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
Skills and Abilities:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
