RumbleOn, the largest retailer of powersports vehicles in America, is in rapid growth mode! To support this exciting growth, we are seeking to add an experienced HRBP in the Dallas/Irving metro area. The RumbleOn HR Business Partner will act as the primary point of contact for HR related matters in their assigned region. They will be responsible for cultivating a high performing culture at our dealerships while limiting any exposure to employment-related liabilities.
The ideal candidate has plenty of experience with conflict resolution, investigations, performance management, policy interpretation, and training facilitation in a multi-site/regional type of role. They are also easy to get along with, enjoy providing support to employees, understand how to manage the recruitment process, and handle challenging situations in a professional manner.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for HR related matters for the dealers in your assigned region
- Assist managers and employees with conflict resolution, incident investigations, performance management, policy interpretation, process compliance, and more
- Report directly to the Sr. Director of HR. Collaborate with Regional Management Team, Director of Talent, and fellow HR Business Partners on how to best support your dealers
- Facilitate classroom or virtual training on various HR related subjects, i.e., supervisor training, FMLA/ADA compliance, I9 Training, etc.
- Draft responses to unemployment claims, preparing for unemployment hearings and submitting appeals when appropriate
- Assist with investigations into Workers Compensation claims as needed and may participate in safety audits or as a member of a safety committee
- Oversee the talent acquisition needs and onboarding of new hires in your assigned stores with the assistance of a regional recruiter
- Develop a thorough understanding of the dealership/department culture and use that understanding to ensure the fit of the candidates to the dealership/position and who is best suited for internal moves
- Travel to your assigned stores/dealers for visits in and around the DFW metro area and the state of Texas as well as other surrounding states in the region
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years in a Human Resources Generalist or HRPB role with an emphasis on employee relations
- HR experience serving a multi-location retail environment (automotive, or powersports environment preferred)
- Ability to professionally address associate relations issues, while protecting confidential information
- Knowledge in the following areas of HR: benefits administration and eligibility, employee relations, employment laws, performance management, on-boarding, conflict resolution, investigations, training, and recruiting/hiring.
- Must be knowledgeable of employment laws, namely Title VII, FMLA, ADA, FLSA as well as state specific laws and ordinances for the region of responsibility
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) preferred.
- Highly organized, with ability to manage multiple tasks and perform in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
- Working knowledge of MS office software - MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work harmoniously and effectively with others
- Must possess excellent problem resolution skills and be relatable with line level employees as well as management (performance issues, coaching/discipline, etc.)
- Must be comfortable presenting training material to both small and large audiences
- Ability to work in different locations some time will be spent in different dealerships in your region. Some time will be spent at headquarters in Irving, Texas.
- Experience with ADP HRIS system preferred
Compensation: $75,000-$85,000
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
