What are the responsibilities and job description for the (Hybrid) Scrum Master With BA Experience position at Rider Solution?
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite per week)
Type: Contract
Rate: $45 - $50 W2 Or C2C
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Serve as a servant leader and coach for multiple agile teams
• Identify and remove team impediments to ensure successful delivery
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to groom and prioritize the product backlog
• Act as a liaison between business users and development teams to translate requirements into functional stories
• Support requirement gathering, documentation, and validation efforts
• Monitor sprint metrics and performance to drive continuous improvement
• Ensure consistent agile practices across teams
• Assist with UAT coordination and defect triaging
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT as a scrum master and BA
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is preferred
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in a hybrid model (onsite/offsite teams)
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile frameworks
Preferred Skills:
• Experience working in Utility Company would be a plus
• SAFe or other scaled Agile framework knowledge is a plus
