Position Overview:
As a Project Coordinator at AAA Fire Protection, you play a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery of fire protection projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will facilitate smooth project operations through meticulous coordination, administrative support, and clear communication with teams, clients, and vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and executing project tasks.
- Coordinate logistics, including material ordering, delivery scheduling, and inventory tracking.
- Communicate regularly with field technicians, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely project updates and efficient workflow.
- Prepare, distribute, and maintain accurate project documentation, including job files, permits, inspection reports, and compliance records.
- Track and report project progress, highlighting potential issues and solutions proactively.
- Support compliance with NFPA standards and OSHA regulations through careful documentation and coordination.
- Participate in weekly team meetings, ensuring effective internal communication.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, maintaining organized and prioritized workloads.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project coordination, preferably within construction, fire protection, or related industries.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and multitasking skills.
- Proficient with project management tools and software, Microsoft Office Suite, and scheduling applications.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with NFPA codes (preferred but not mandatory).
- Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented approach to tasks and deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
