- Base Salary: $130,000 - $160,000

About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Professional to serve as the trusted first point of contact for entrepreneurs and business owners. In this high-impact role, you will manage the initial pipeline, conduct introductory calls, guide prospects through our sales process, and ultimately close deals. You will also oversee a Business Development Representative (BDR) to support scheduling, follow-ups, and material distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct 30-35 introductory calls per month, engaging with both warm leads and cold prospects.
- Quickly build trust with business owners by understanding their motivations, business landscape, and objectives.
- Facilitate follow-up discussions and coordinate next steps with teams in Investment Banking, the Pathfinder Program, Family Office, and Accelerator Fund.
- Drive the sales process from initial contact through closing, ensuring high-quality client alignment with our services.
- Manage and mentor a Business Development Representative (BDR) to support outreach efforts.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients.
- Prepare and manage sales materials, including proposals, case studies, and sample deliverables.
Key Qualifications
- 15-20 years of business development or consultative sales experience, preferably in M&A advisory, investment banking, capital raising, or related high-ticket sales environments.
- Experience in private equity business development is a plus.
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial experience is a plus; having started, run, or been a partner in a business is an advantage.
- Deep consultative sales expertise with a proven ability to manage long, relationship-driven sales cycles.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex services in simple terms.
- A strategic, assertive, and action-oriented mindset, with a track record of pushing entrepreneurs to take timely action.
