Dental Sterilization Technician/Dental Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Sterilization Tech that would transition to a assistant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice, providing exceptional support to both patients and dental professionals. This position requires a blend of administrative skills and clinical knowledge. We are willing to train the right person for this professional skill set. Future potential to be trained as a dental assistant.

Responsibilities

• Proper sterilization of dental operatories and instrument sterilization.
• Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
• Preparing treatment rooms.
• Assist with patient intake, including collecting medical history and vital signs.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments while managing the office calendar.
• Ensure treatment rooms and office are stocked with necessary supplies.
• Preparation of the day and end of day procedures
• Maintain patient records in compliance with privacy regulations and office protocols.
• Perform basic administrative tasks such as answering phones, processing payments, and managing correspondence.

Requirements

• Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry or can be training
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Previous experience in the dental field or in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per year

Experience:
