JOIN OUR TEAM AS THE STAFFING COORDINATOR/SCHEDULER !
The Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler is responsible for providing nursing staffing and support for CNO functions for the facility. This position provides support as an assisting member of the nursing leadership team working to ensure safe/adequate staffing on each unit.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop and Implement staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for the Nursing department at all times.
2. Provide daily staffing of RN’s, LPN’s and MHT’s
3. Process time off requests and ensure coverage for employees taking off.
4. Screen resumes and set up interviews of nursing candidates for CNO.
5. Process call-ins/absences and ensure coverage.
6. Ensure training/orientation of nursing staff is current. Provide training and support to staff to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
7. Produce daily staffing sheets and store past daily sheets.
8. Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, performance, and training
9. Prepare daily staffing FTE report for CEO, CFO, and CNO.
10. Review time sheets daily and make corrections as needed for Payroll.
11. Review staffing with CNO to ensure adherence to staffing grid and safety.
12. Provide monthly “temporary agency” usage reports to the CFO.
13. Maintain up-to-date and accurate nursing staff phone lists.
14. Process PAF’s for all nursing terminations and status changes.

Qualifications
Education/Experience: Preferably at least two (2) years experience in a hospital business office or staff management, preferably in a health care setting, or any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital business office. High School Diploma or GED required. Experience with Inovalon/Shift hound Scheduling platform, preferred.
Additional Requirements: Ability to work occasional overtime and flexible hours as requested. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. CPR/ First Aid certification and successful completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior, including restraint and seclusion policies, CPI, within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.

Compensation:
This is a Full-Time, non-exempt role, and the expected compensation range is between $18 and $22.00/hour. We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be given to experience and skill level. Join us as our Staffing Coordinator/Schedule!
