Ridgewood Country Club is a private member-owned Club that was established in 1920. The Club’s facilities include an 18-hole golf course designed by renowned golf course architect Devereux Emmet, four outdoor tennis courts, outdoor pool and bathhouse. There are several dining areas that include a casual member Pub Room that seats 100 , banquet hall seating 180, Terrace Room seating 60, Grill Room seating 60, Outdoor Patio seating 100 and Pool Snack Bar.
Job Summary:
The Pool Director/Head Swim Coach manages all of the facilities in the pool area as well as the pool attendants, lifeguards, and swim team coaches including while assuring a safe, fun, clean and appealing Club Pool Complex. The pool is open seven days per week from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day weekend. The Pool Director will also consult in the off season in committee meeting and program planning each season.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate Degree or working towards it.
- Enjoys working with children and creating a fun but safe environment.
- Experience in team swimming and/or coaching
- CPR, AED and First Aid Certified
- Lifeguard Certification
