Job Title: Weekend Supervisor
Assists the Director of Health Services and Assistant Director of Health Services in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the weekend functions of the Nursing Department(s).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department.
- Makes written and oral reports/recommendations to the ADHS/DHS concerning the operation of the nursing service department.
- Develops methods for coordination of nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
Supervises and assists with all resident care according to assessed resident status and established plan of care. Participates in development, revision, and implementation of resident care plans. Prepares, administers, and documents medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
Requirements:
- Must be able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, vendors, and the general public.
