- Certifications in AP Capstone Seminar and/or AP Capstone Research (Or a willingness to complete 2 weeks of summer training to achieve certifications)
- Experience teaching high school English
- Experience in implementing inquiry-based instruction
- Skilled in strategic instruction in the NJ Student Learning Standards
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated in his/her/their pursuit of professional growth
