Job Summary : Ridgewood Public Schools seeks an English Teacher at Ridgewood High School for the 2025-2026 school year who is certified in AP Capstone Seminar and Research or someone willing to achieve these certifications in 2 weeks of summer professional development.
Qualifications :
- New Jersey Teacher of English certification
- Certifications in AP Capstone Seminar and / or AP Capstone Research (Or a willingness to complete 2 weeks of summer training to achieve certifications)
- Experience teaching high school English
- Experience in implementing inquiry-based instruction
- Skilled in strategic instruction in the NJ Student Learning Standards
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated in his / her / their pursuit of professional growth
Start Date : August 27, 2025 plus 3 days NTO in August
Working Conditions : 10 month, full-time, tenure track position, salary as per negotiated contract with benefits
