Summary
Responsible for coordinating/managing all internal and external sales at quarry, operating/managing the scale house, as well as coordinating and dispatching the trucking needs for the Petoskey, MI Division

Summary
Responsible for coordinating/managing all internal and external sales at quarry, operating/managing the scale house, as well as coordinating and dispatching the trucking needs for the Petoskey, MI Division
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Dispatch/Schedule trucking needs for various crews and other operations
- Operate/Manage the scale house at quarry, print scale tickets, direct customers, and occasionally operate front end loader and load trucks when needed
- Communicate/Manage internal and external sales with various customers
- Maintain necessary documentation for internal/external requirements and MDOT Aggregate Prequalified program
- Communicate with the shop/equipment department on necessary maintenance for area owned trailers
- Assist in resolving issues with drivers, brokers, and others as they occur
- Assist with Site Specific Awareness & Safety at the Quarry
- Additional duties/responsibilities as needed
- High school diploma or GED required
- Dispatching experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills
- A successful candidate must have integrity, competency, and adaptability
- Problem solving skills with attention to detail
- Self-motivated; ability to work independently and thrive in fast paced, high-pressure environment
- Knowledge of Aggregates and Trucking rules/regulations in the State of Michigan
- Available to occasionally revise trucking schedules as needed after hours and/or on weekends
- Good written and verbal communication skills
