Rifeline has an affinity for facilitating public buy-in using a dynamic combination of grassroots and grasstops outreach, and high-level public affairs.
While we thrive in complex, controversial, and politically challenging situations, we provide public involvement and community outreach services for all types of projects and initiatives. Currently, Rifeline works heavily on various transportation projects. Some of our current clients include the Texas Department of Transportation (Mobility35), Williamson County (Transportation Corridor Development), Central Health (Health Equity Policy Council and Community Health Champions) and the Brazos River Authority.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
The Community Outreach Coordinator will support Rifeline team members in implementing public engagement and community outreach activities on behalf of clients, managing various tasks across multiple projects through completion. Responsibilities could include, but will not be limited to :
- Manage work effectively across multiple projects, project managers, and project teams
- Conduct stakeholder and project research
- Schedule, organize, and coordinate logistics, and prepare materials for meetings and events
- Staff in-person and virtual stakeholder and community meetings, including :
- Assisting with meeting set-up / breakdown
- Helping with attendee registration
- Providing technical support for virtual meetings (on platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.)
- Tabling at community events
- Taking accurate notes in real time
- Conduct additional in-person stakeholder outreach, including block-walking
- Draft meeting notes and summaries for both internal and external meetings
- Research, develop and maintain stakeholder databases
- Document and track all outreach activities to fulfillment, including stakeholder inquiries and responses
- Assist with mail-outs, perform mail merges, print letters, and stuff envelopes
- Draft fact sheets, web copy, newsletters, social media posts
- Edit communications and correspondence for error correction and adherence to brand guidelines
- Assist in the creation of PowerPoint presentations
- Enter all time & expenses in a timely and accurate manner in CORE project management system
- Communicate with stakeholders in person, over the phone, and in writing
- Transcribe written comments and sign-in sheets, scanning and filing digital materials (document control)
- Coordinate with Operations staff to monitor supply inventory; keep supply closet organized

Benefits include :
The typical salary range is $50,000-$65,000 annually but compensation will be commensurate
with experience, along with an opportunity to earn an annual bonus of up to 10% of salary, based on company and individual performance.
