Description
The Sitech Product Support Specialist is responsible for successfully providing excellent customer service, training new customers, support existing customers with the use of Trimble/Cat grade control solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
· Trimble/Cat resident expert on machine technology & application information
· Lead person on all startups, training operators on equipment controls and associated technology
· Specialist responsible for Trimble/Cat equipment and application as well as recommended performance improvements
· Responsible for verification of functionality and accuracy of machine technology at delivery
· Point of Contact/communication with manufacturer representative to diagnose, analyze, document, and solve product application problems
· Communicate all information that assists in correcting/containing application problems to Sitech/Riggs CAT Management
· Attend new product deliveries at customer sites and train on operational efficiency, safety, and best practices
· Provide customer (internal and external) with product, application, maintenance, and operation training of Sitech equipment
· Advise and consult customers on machine and job site operations which directly impact the customer’s business performance
· Review quotes to ensure accuracy and completeness
· Work with Technology Manager to schedule new system installations
· Manage call-in support and schedule field tech as appropriate
Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully, and sometimes develop alternative solutions;
- Ability to work in group problem solving situations
- Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and responds promptly to customer needs.
- Ability to speak or communicate clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
- Demonstrated group presentation skills and willingness to participate in meetings.

- Tolerance for taking calculated risks to accomplish goals.
- 5-10 years of GPS Technology experience, on and off machine; Trimble
- Requires extensive technical experience in electrical and mechanical equipment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver license and clean driving record.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. Employee must be able to lift 25 lbs of force occasionally and 10 lbs of force frequently.
The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.

This is a blended outside and inside role with expected overnight stays estimated at 1-5 nights/month, depending on customer needs.
