Legal Assistant - Job Summary
A growing regional law firm is looking for a dynamic, self-starter for the position of Legal Assistant. The successful candidate will provide legal clerical and administrative support within the firm. The individual must be highly organized, have the ability to prioritize, work well with others, and adapt well under pressure.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
· Prepare basic pleadings, discovery responses
· Maintain attorney calendars and deadlines
· Perform file maintenance in case management software
· File and serve documents to necessary parties
· Draft and review legal correspondence
· Administrative duties as requested
Qualifications and Skills
· 3-5 years of experience working as a legal assistant
· Experience working with multiple attorneys
· Basic understanding of Arizona civil rules of procedure
· Experience working with Microsoft products, Adobe Acrobat, legal case management software
· Positive and professional interpersonal relations
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
· Attentive to timeliness and accuracy

Cover letter required, hourly range approximately $20-30 - rate to commensurate with experience, 40 hour work week
