Job Summary
Our female client in Somers needs a caregiver 7 Days A Week: Shifts are: 4pm - 10pm and 2 Overnights a week, Friday and Saturday (Possible 12 hours each shift).
The caregiver must have experience with Dementia Care, Meal Prep and assisting with ADLs and medication reminders.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and support to the client in homes, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Medication reminders.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.
- Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.
Qualifications
- Experience in geriatric care and in-home support
- Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.10 - $20.00 per hour
