The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for creating extraordinary client and family experiences and ultimately manages “best in home care” care plans.
- Performs comprehensive subjective and objective initial client intake/admission and 60 day Case Management assessments that includes physical, psychosocial, and environmental parameters.
- Develops and maintains individualized plan of care and communicates them with clients, families, and care partners as needed.
- Supervises and mentors Certified Home Health Aides to whom nursing functions have been delegated and supports them in their care delivery in the client’s home.
- Maintains a calm, positive demeanor and can effectively multitask.
- The ideal candidate has prior experience working in the home care industry or medical office setting.
The desired candidate will possess the following:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and one year of professional experience as and RN.
- Holds a current valid license in good standing as a RN with the NJ Board of Nursing.
- Knowledge and ability to provide skilled nursing care as defined in the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Have a valid driver’s license and use of insured automobile.
- Be available as required for on-call duty outside of normal office hours.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
- Meets current health requirements to provide patient care
- Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment.
Job Types: Part-time, PRN, Per diem
Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 2 per week
