The afterhours scheduling Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the client and caregiver relationship outside of regular operating hours, and ultimately helps provide a “best in homecare” experience for clients and employees. This role requires the ability to relate to clients and care staff in a way that is sensitive to the unique needs of the individual and plays an integral role in interfacing with care staff to ensure the proper caregiver and client match. You will perform various administrative activities for scheduling appropriate caregivers to clients, and other office coordination duties as needed. Serves as a team player while maintaining a high level of professionalism, a positive demeanor at all times, integrity in every interaction, and is able to effectively multitask, solve challenges and make decisions in a fast-paced high functioning remote environment.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
o Schedules personnel
o Contacts individuals in regard to assignments and scheduling
o Answers telephone and responds to text and email communications promptly
o Maintains accurate documentation of care staff work activities in ClearCare
o Performs payroll duties including verifying clocking in and out of care staff
o Notifies clients in a timely fashion if an employee is not available as originally scheduled. Makes every attempt to refill the request
o Notifies personnel in a timely fashion if the client cancels a request.
o Contacts personnel, as needed, to request availability to work
