What are the responsibilities and job description for the In Home Caregiver/Personal Assistant position at Right at Home?
Right at Home is looking for multiple PCA’s to fill client needs in several locations including: Westbrook, Clinton, Killingworth, Lyme, Essex, Niantic ! MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO THESE LOCATIONS. A vehicle is required for this position.
Immediate Openings in:
- Niantic Female. Hours: Sundays 9am-3pm
- Niantic Gentleman. Hours: Saturdays and Sundays 10am-3pm.
- Essex Gentleman. Hours: Mondays 9:30am-9:30pm, Tuesdays 1pm-9:30pm, Thursdays 1pm-9:30pm, Fridays 9:30am-9:30pm
- Lyme Female. Hours: Saturdays and Sundays 10am-3pm.
Essential Functions
- Personal Care (Including but not limited to: Bed baths, help using restroom, getting in and out of the shower, AM and PM care, incontinence care etc.)
- Performs various homemaking activities such as: vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, doing dishes, changing bed linens, cleaning bathrooms, and doing laundry.
- Driving to appointments and grocery shopping.
- Redirection with Dementia/Parkinson's
- Medication Reminders
Qualifications
- High School graduate or G.E.D certificate preferred.
- Personal Care experience
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and have use of an insured motor vehicle.
